What is the role of education in addressing asthma?

Education programs have been shown to be extremely important to help patients learn how to manage their asthma.

Education programs may assist patients, their families, and others to take actions to reduce asthma attacks by addressing triggers in homes, schools, and day care centers. Each type of building has different needs.
